I walked into the police department regarding a ticket I had received. The woman at the front pointed me to another lady to talk to, J. Perez. Her first name was Josie I believe. I began explaining my situation to her. The entire time I was talking, she was rolling her eyes at me, shaking her head and talking under her breath. The police officer next to her, M. Mora, noticed and politely intervened to help me. I was shocked at what had just happened but I didn't say anything and moved over to the next window to speak with Mora. At this point, Perez was still staring at me, shaking her head, rolling her eyes and even whispering things to Mora. This is when I had had enough. I told Perez "Is there a problem?" She told me that there wasn't. I then told her that she should be nice then. She's in customer service and it doesn't matter that she's a cop. She just stared at me aggressively and that was the end of this but I am so unbelievably blown away by this. I felt like I was back in high school, not a POLICE DEPARTMENT. I wanted to file a complaint but I don't know where so I hope this review gets some kind of attention and I severely doubt this is the first time someone has complained about her attitude. Thank God, I wasn't at the department for anything serious or life threatening but let's say I had come to report someone was abusing me or someone had raped me, and Josie Perez treated me the way that she had, I would've walked out the door and never told anyone. Those are the kind of cops we have sitting at the front desk of the Glendale police department and that is very very sad. Thank you to Officer Mora though for kindly and professionally assisting me.
The Glendale police department is the most useless police department. They over react, all of them have attitude especially this one pig who stops on glenoaks and Verdugo. Nothing happens in Glendale so they just stand around all day doing nothing and if a traffic stop goes down you see about 8 units come in for back up.
I love the Glendale Police. Anytime I needed their help they were right there. Fast to respond, friendly and helpful and making this one of the safest cities there are. Keep up the good work!
There was a roudy Armenian family in a hospital. They refused to play by the rules of the hospital, visiting the patient 2 hours after visiting hours were over, and opening champagne bottles inside. They were wearing Masonic symbols and expecting to get special treatment and to be allowed to break the rules just because they were wearing the symbols. They were somewhat thuggish. They continued to argue with the Nursing staff and the hospital security, so the Glendale PD was called in. The police officers were extremely professional, diffusing the situation and gently teaching the roudy family that in America we all have to play by the same rules. Some of these 3rd world countries are run by corrupt thugs and masons, and people from those countries think they can break the law just because they wear certain symbols because "the powers that be" will protect them. Thugs need to understand that everyone needs to play by the rules, and they will not get special treatment just because they put on certain symbols. The police department does a great job slowly and gently assimilating these people into the American culture and mindset of equal treatment under the rules.
I hope I could give them no star at all. They are UNPROFESSIONAL, rude, all of them have anger issues. Don't bring you personal problem at work or if you can just quit. Let's Glendale and Burbank be safe without you. You just can threat people and your act to people looks like animal. Make American better to faire police that has issue witch is %99. If you have fun, badge , weapon, handcuff it doesn't mean you can messed up people's life. YOU ARE NOT GOD
