Did you notice this isn't an apple store? It's now just "Apple". I'd call it more a temple or place of worship than a store anyway. My 2 stars are because this is a lousy store. They have no registers and they won't sell you unless you meet with a salesperson. Like a car dealer
Horrible customer service. The helpful not so genius staff (a group of 5 happy NOT helping employees talking amongst themselves) here pointed and said, "Go talk to him to get checked in".... Right, with only 75 employees, and 198 customers in the store, I should be able to guess which " him" out of all the male possibilities in the store. What a bunch of inconsiderate idiots!!
They were nice and explained the new features of Iphone X and Iphone 8. Nice, big store. They have a lot of workers, so the line moves quickly.
The staff have no idea about tax refund issues in California. We bought an iphone and were told that we can get tax return at LAX. We just found out there is no tax return at all in California and in most states in US. I think the staff should be more informed about these things.
I'm not sure why this store doesn't have a 5 star rating. Personally I have found the stuff in the store to be above average and ultimately the most pleasurable experience at Apple stores that I have visited in the past. There's a beautiful water fountain (that sprays water according to classical music) in front of the store the staff is alway happy. If that doesn't warrant for five stars then I don't know what does.
